Yakuza: 8th Game of the famous game series. Know more about Cast, Gameplay and Characters!



Yakuza is an action-adventure beat them up video game franchise created, owned and published by Sega. There are a total of nine mainline Yakuza games but two are remakes. There are seven Yakuza titles that you need to take into consideration. Novelist Hase Seishu supervised the stories of the first two games. The eighth main release is the Yakuza:Like a Dragon was released in Japan on 16th January 2020. With a worldwide release scheduled for a later date in 2020.


Players are also able to enjoy the various side activities around the map such as karaoke. A new side-activity introduced in this game is Dragon Kart. Similar to other kart racing games in terms of its gameplay.Yakuza: Like a Dragon features turn-based RPG type combat, with a four-person battle team. Players can also call on various party assists to strengthen the party or defeat enemies. With more assists added as the story progresses or through the completion of sub-stories. Players can still continue exploring the world after completing the game.Complementing the new RPG type combat system are Jobs, a form of character classes similar to other RPGs. Players can change any party member’s job to better fit the party’s playstyle. Currently, there are two jobs.


Ichiban Kasuga, went to prison in 2001 for a murder that he didn’t commit. Hoping that this will make him a hero in the Tojo Clan.He is released from the prison in 2019. He goes to confront Arakawa, who shoots him in the chest. Several days later, Kasuga wakes up half-naked under a pile of trash however eventually finds out that he is in the Yokohama district of Isezaki Ijincho.


Kazuma Kiryu lives by a strict code of honor and holds a very strong sense of justice. He loves kids and shows himself to be a relatively competent caretaker to the children at Morning Glory Orphanage.

Ichiban Kasuga he is fiercely loyal to his Yakuza family and appears to have a great sense of imagination.After the death of his father he stopped going to junior high school at fifteen.Resorted to whatever means necessary to earn money , leaving his education behind for good. He spent most of his days fighting people for money.

Daigo Dojimais a recurring character in the Yakuza series and the protagonist and he is sixth chairman of Tojo clan and as the son of the infamous Sohei Dojima. Daigo is a reluctant Chairman for the Tojo Clan and he has known of his father’s harsh and cruelty in the Tojo Clan and sought to avoid the same fate as his father in creating another ruthless successor to the Chairman, a position his father coveted.
